Thom Harrison

Thomas Harrison is the Founder of EternalCore and shared the original vision of an online community of people and practitioners who seek to explore God-centered mental health for long-term healing. He wrote the charter document of EternalCore entitled “7 Keys to God-Centered Mental Health” in an effort to provide a framework similar to that which he learned and used in his private practice.

Thom has been trained in cognitive therapy, psychodynamic therapy, reality-oriented therapy, and relationship therapy. He has been practicing in Utah with a clinical license since 1977. He has taught at the University of Utah Medical School, Graduate School of Social Work and in conflict resolution and divorce mediation at the BYU Law School.

Harrison has postgraduate training in depression, anxiety, sexual, emotional, and physical abuse, sexual addiction, and posttraumatic stress disorders. He has counseled over 4000 survivors of sexual abuse. He treats dissociative disorders and has served on the neuro-trauma team at three hospitals.

He has 40 years of experience and assists in the resolution of problems quickly and in the long run for less cost to the client. He is knowledgeable in traditional psychotropic medication and nontraditional approaches to wellness. He is experienced and sought after as a therapist and public speaker. He is the author of three published books including the book “Real Intimacy” with co-authors Alisha Worthington and Kristin Hodson.

Thom chose to leave his practice of 41 years in the fall of 2017 to become a consultant for Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R) where he worked to assist in the aftercare programs, operative selection processes, and to work selectively with specific victims of human trafficking to assist them in their long-term healing processes. Thom is the Chairman of the Board of Mobaliz International, the 501 (c)(3) non-profit that is the charter sponsor of EternalCore.org.

Thom is the co-host of the EternalCore Podcast along with Ken Krogue, CEO of Mobaliz, which began on January 15th, 2019. A new podcast episode is posted every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
